Award is to encourage specialized training early in a physician's career and to prepare candidates for careers in academic medicine. Training will take place in a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation care center and must encompass diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, comprehensive care, and cystic fibrosis-related research.
